Just some notes about the blog and blogging.

First, did you notice that JILL has a new post up? She's in the middle of moving our household from one place to another, though still on the island, so she won't see your comments for a few days, but it would be great if she checked and saw a bunch. So hop over and take a look.

Next, I've made a few changes to the sidebar here. Took off the Google Ads, just didn't feel like it was adding much value to the blog. Also, deleted the former Chief of Staff remarks and photo since the exhibit he was talking about was recently removed.

Added a few things, like a banner to the Military Uniform Exchange (see Soldier Support) which is a site where military folks can exchange/sell/buy military uniform items and the like. Great idea that I'm happy to support.

You may also notice a couple of new sections further down like "Overlays: Information, News and Analysis about the Middle East". A few good sites to check out there. Then below the "Back Azimuths" is a new section labeled "Forums" where I'll put buttons and links to forum websites that interest me and may interest you. Look for a link to Professional Soldiers as well as the Infantryman's forum soon.

Also, there's a new button to the Global Incident Map. Not sure where I found that, I'm sure it was a very cool blog, but it is a neat tool, so check it out, too.

That about sums it up. What do you think? Anything else that oughta be there?
