Memorial Day Enlistments to Skyrocket
As I did a quick spin through the blogosphere this morning, my eye caught on this:
Lorie Byrd at Wizbang! noticed it first.
I have a suggestion for those that want to volunteer. When you speak out, say the following and fulfill your "responsibility to act, a duty to our troops and to each other..."
After all, you are needed. Just ask MG Mixon.
What better way to prove your patriotism, your dedication to ending the war, your support of the troops, your love of this country, than volunteering to fight, win and end the War on Terrorism?
Somehow, I don't think that's what John Edwards had in mind.

This Memorial Day weekend, we will all take responsibility for the country we love and the men and women who protect it. We will volunteer, we will pray, and we will speak out. Each of us has a responsibility to act, a duty to our troops and to each other. Support the troops. End the war.

I, [state your full name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
